Urgent Help

I'm not sure where to post this, but I think here is the most appropriate place. Okay so today in my English class I typed up most of my research paper. Then I saved it on a floppy disk. When I put the floppy disk in my computer at home, it said the disk was not formatted, and if I wanted to format it everything in the disk would de deleted..I can't open it up and get my research paper, so what can I do?

As far as I know, you're screwed. Sorry. Next time, use a USB drive or a CD...

You might be able to access the document using the floppy drive at the original computer and if so, e-mail the document to yourself...

-The Screwed Coot66

coot is right. Go back to the same computer and re-save it on a USB/e-mail it.

If you have no luck, then your parents can probably vouch for you to get an extra day.

Yeah NEVER EVER save anything to a floppy.

Floppy disks suck. Sorry.

Go back and pop the floppy on the original computer and try to open it and save it to the hard drive. If that doesn't work, there might be a temp file with some/all of your work in it on the original computer.
