Urgent need: Source for download-able "legal" sheetmusic

Does anyone know of a way to download (for tomorrow) a Strauss vocal selection. For a state adjudication. Can't be a bootlegged copy. Daughter forgot to get the required second published copy.

Do a Google search for the piece. Some music school libraries have some stuff on-line, but they're usually symphonies...

There are also some stores which have music downloads for a fee, but I can't remember their URLs.

We had a similar problem once, music lost the night before. We brought a photocopy and explained the situation and that was fine.

Good luck! I'm sure emotions are running high right now...

Are the ones we use most.

Thanks so much!

If they did not do the trick, you might also try

I have gotten scores from them on occasion and have been quite satisfied. One real neat feature is that you can transpose the music to any key you desire before printing it.

Thank you all for the ideas and websites. Emotions WERE running high. I avoided exclaiming, "why didn't you take care of this before!" -- not easy -- and had already entered the "it's not the end of the world if you're not allowed to sing" mode (but I know I would have felt bad for her). We hit the jackpot with www.freehandmusic.com --and were even able to download in the right key and register-- but I'll be sure to save this thread with all the other suggestions. Happy Friday!
