Urgent questions about the UC's

When can I apply to the UC's. I heard and saw on the site that winter 2008 is open for selected campuses like UCR and UCM. Does this mean I am applying for admission to start in december of 08' or do the UC's mean that it is for fall 08, but they just write winter. I am a rising senior and really need this questions to be anserewed. Can I apply to UCR or UCM right now? Are there any other UC's to whcih i can apply right now. WOuld i be considered for scholarships at this time? Do they just hand out scholarships at UCM??

I think the UC application is not out until maybe Nov 1 for 2008. HS Counselor said expect some of the essay questions to be changed.

That means that if you will have graduated high school you can apply to start at UC Riverside or Merced next January. This is the end of last year's application cycle, not the beginning of this year's.

I heard UCR has rolling admssions???? I guess not!!

What kind of stats do you need to get regents or good scholarships at UC MErced??

I don't think TooRichForAid is right. The UC application I believe becomes available on October 1 and you can start submiting your applications to the UCs on November 1. The application period closes November 30th.

wierd that nobody on CC is defenite about UCR....or UCM

What kind of stats to get regenst??

California residency, ~2100-2200+, top of class, good ECs.

Those are stats from a few California friends I have.

So, getting regents isnt any easier as getting regents as UCLA or Cal??

Yeah, the month is off. But the general timeline is what I was trying to convey.

laptop19, please restate your question.

what she was asking was what were the average stats of the people who get the regents scholarship to UC-R and UC-M...

Oh, I'd imagine it's lower there.
