URGENT! Totally screwed up my USC App!! HELP!

So I was putting the finishing touches on my Common App and then submitted it. Only about 30 seconds after doing so did I realize that I completely forgot to submit the statement of intent for my supplement for Annenberg School of Journalism/Communications!!! DDD: I feel like kicking myself... and I'm on the verge of tears. As you know, Common App doesn't allow any additions to the app after you've submitted, locking you out completely.

I've sent a letter explaining what happened to both Annenberg & USC office of admissions, and I attached my completed statement in the email to Annenberg (the form for contacting the office of admissions doesn't allow for attachments) all before the midnight deadline.

What do you guys think??? Will they take it? I'm soo devastated because I've honestly worked for so long on that statement of intent and my application as a whole. I don't know how I forgot to attach it.. I feel so stupid. I don't want them to think that i just didn't finish the application so now I"m sending it in last minute.... which is why I emailed it to Annenberg as soon as I realized the mistake..

I'm going to call USC admissions tomorrow, but the office doesn't open until 8AM and I'm so nervous and scared... Please offer your thoughts/opinions/advice.

If you’ve sent them the letter, you should be fine. You are not by any means the first person for this to happen to, and no school would see something this silly - assuming it knew about the event - as a reason not to admit a student.
