Urgent: Ucsb ccs

Alright, So I was accepted into UCSB but I still don't know if the College of Creative Studies (CCS) rejected or accepted me for their Physics program.
Do any current students/alum at CCS remember when they were notified of admission into the school?

Note:
UCSB admitted me as Undeclared in the College of Letters and Sciences, because the said I "have a great academic record", although I applied as an Engineering major (they said it was ultra-competitive).

P.S. - I applied Engineering first and CCS physics as an alternate, does that hurt my chances at CCS? I really want to get in, because I realized its a great program.

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure if you’re admitted as undecided it means you weren’t accepted to your requested majors. But you can always transfer once you start school!
Congrats on being admitted :)

Yeah, maybe. I thought the College of Creative Studies sent out separate emails, but I’m not sure.
CCS required an extra application, letters of rec, a letter or intent, transcripts, and evidence of talent. So I have no idea.

Bhurst,

Here’s your answer from the UCSB CCS website:

“When the college has received all items required for your CCS application, an individual application file is created and circulated to faculty members in your chosen CCS major. For fall UCSB applicants, the College of Creative Studies cannot inform applicants of decisions on their CCS applications until the University of California Santa Barbara has mailed the campus’s admission/deferral letters in March. CCS decision letters follow immediately thereafter. A denial from CCS does not negatively affect your admission to one of the other colleges at UCSB.”

Just chill for a few days bro!

Best,
Wheaty

Thank you so much Wheaty, I’m so nerve wracked that I cant really think.

Bhurst,

You’re welcome. CCS Physics is an amazing program and I hope you get in.

Best of luck,
