URM advantage in Law School Admissions?

<p>How much does being a URM factor into law school admissions? I have a 3.6 GPA and LSAT of 170, also a AA woman.</p>

<p>AA as in Alcoholics Anonymous? If so you probably shouldn’t tell them…</p>

<p>But yeah, you have a good shot at the very best law schools. You’d be in even better shape if your GPA was higher, but you should be able to get into a school in the “top 10”.</p>

<p>The URM boost is substantial. Your chances at HYS are good. You should be in at CCN (maybe with $$).</p>

<p>Of course AA refers to African-American. I doubt that any Asian Americans looking at top law schools would believe that they qualify for URM; it’s more ridiculous than white applicants believing that they would get URM boosts.</p>
