Forensics Team (2009 - Presnt) --- 4th place in county for extemporaneous speech
-5th place in county for persuasive speech
-1st place in the J Franklyn Bourne Bi-county Oratorical contest
President of the Walter Johnson Rock Climbing Club (2008 - Present)
Tutor of WJ's French Honors Society (2008 - present)
Black Student Union (2007- Present)
Minority Scholars Program (2007 - Present)</p>

<p>Athletics:
Competitor of USA Climbing (2007 - present)
Competitor of USA Diving (2000 - 2007)
National recognition for Rock Climbing (15th place in 2010, 12th Place in 2009)
National / international recongtion for Diving from 2004-2007 **left after extensive injury.</p>

<p>That doesnt include any of my community service and is just the backbone to what I have on paper. In total, my resume is 2.5 pages in length.</p>

<p>Your EC’s are awesome and you seem like a really interesting person. That being said, I advise you to get the highest possible grades first semester senior year and possibly retake the SAT I in November (you would be awesome if you could get 2200+). Also, if it’s possible, try to take Math 2 instead of Math 1.</p>

<p>Your GPA will slaughter you…sry to say. However, if anyone could pull off an ivy with rly, rly rusty stats, it would be a URM. So there is some hope…but idk… a 3.2ish GPA will likely destroy you.</p>

<p>The best and easiest way to compensate for your low GPA is to retake the SAT.</p>

<p>Spend a lot more time taking practice exams and going over the questions you answered incorrectly. Take it seriously, because in your case it will make or break you.</p>

<p>And chances are it’s a laundry list of every little thing you’ve ever done in high school. Schools don’t want to see that.</p>

<p>I think that you’re aiming far too high with Princeton, but it’s worth a shot, right? Also, the rock climbing seems really interesting and unique.</p>

<p>If you are being recruitted for athletics, you can get in with SAT scores around 1900 and like 3.4 GPA.</p>

<p>His rock-climbing is not a “recruitable” sport, and he indicated his diving involvement ended due to injury, so it does not look like he is a viable recruit.</p>

<p>Agree that his long resume will not prove to adcoms that he can handle the academics of Princeton. There are plenty of URMs with higher stats.</p>
