US college equivalents

<p>I honestly have heard that the political science and econ are just okay for a major university. However, I can say hands down, McGill linguistics is one of the best linguistics depts in the world, and I’ve heard that McGill Psych is crazy (amazing), like a top 10 program for sure.</p>

<p>As for humanities, a number of their departments are incredible, philosophy being one of them. Religion is supposed to be really good here also.</p>

<p>I agree with stellitsa: “At the end of the day, what counts with people and employers, is the perception they have about the school.” And the THES ranking did a good job with both employers and peers reviews, which I feel, are the most important for both employment and post-grad study.</p>
