US colleges Ranking

Um, ya.....SAT (pre re-centered) and IQ correlate to ~0.8. This is the same correlation that IQ tests have with eachother, so-yes the SAT is an IQ test. Actually, so is the LSAT, GRE, GMAT and MAT. One caveat is that in order to convert current SAT scores, you have to convert them to pre-recentered (1995) scores. Scroll to the bottom here for a GRE to SAT to IQ calculator.

Estimated IQs of the Greatest Geniuses

Yep, your link proves it. I am a "genius." Thank you *bows.

^^^^^^
Be careful to convert SAT scores to pre-re-centered before you use the calculator. In other words, if YOU scored a 1300 on the SAT last year, you need to plug in 1200 to the calculator.

^^^^^
Did you subtract 100 points from your SAT score before you used the calculator?

By the way, I already know I'm a "genius" and I don't need a test toc confirm it. Now, If I can just find my way out of this bottle...;)

Barron actually likes Michigan. I bet he likes this list 'cause Wisky is way above Duke...

Northwestern is above Duke too. I'll side with barrons for this one! ;)

I love this list...Florida 38 in the US and 50 in the world!

It is weighted to the sciences which are more important in the Asian mind than sociology, history and such.

UT Southwestern? UC San Francisco? Rockefeller?

^It floats my boat. That's what matters on this board!

Those are all either medical schools or graduate schools with lots of science research going on. They lumped all universities together and did not differentiate grad only schools. Feel free to delete them and move up the rest.

i just noticed what barrons and kwu discussed about "being PC" in the first page... "Mongols" looks really strange, except that we Mongolians say ourselves "Mongol" in Mongolian language, like Japanese say themselves "Nihon" in Japanese language. SO, you must say "Mongolians" if you're talking in English, barrons!
