US grad school with best looking girls

Hi,

I'm thinking if applying for grad school in chemical engineering. I'm wondering which top US grad school has the best looking girls.

I'm applying for chemical engineering as i think this program as the most girls.
heres a chart i found.

Women in Engineering

I'm not interested in enviro but chemical is consistently 1st or 2nd.

Any suggestions?

Just because there aren't many girls doesn't mean they're all unattractive. And, honestly, the percentage is about the same throughout the nation. You're gonna find an attractive girl in any school..

You do realize that the percentage of women in a program has nothing to do with how good they look, right? Also, it is currently 18 degrees F in Waterloo...

@ 2+2 = 5 that chart was just to show than chem eng has the most girls. I can't compare Waterloo with other schools as i haven't been to them.

@Modulation ya, i know that there are attractive girls at any school but i want to increase my chances.

hmmm... "Waterloo" seems very appropriate for this line of thinking.

You have got to be kidding me.

The thing I hated about grad school was that even though I had a boyfriend at home (who is now my husband), EACH of my close male friends ended up trying to get me to go on a date with them.

Grad school is not a meat market, and you would be wise not to treat it as such if you want any chance at finding someone who would even remotely want to date you.

I don't know maybe he actually wants a relationship?

Not all guys are like how you describe. lmao T-T

airbarr, I don't know how you look but your posts seem to turn me on. Will you go on a date with me. ;)

Well, since you ask so nicely and are direct about your intentions... If you can track down my husband, you're welcome to see what he thinks about it! =)

And my grad school friends wanted relationships, too. Their intentions were good. But I wasn't in grad school for a relationship; I already had one of those, my boyfriend just wasn't living in the same city as I was. I was in grad school for an education, and since there were ten guys for every one woman in my program... Well, a lot of them were single. I'm not drop dead gorgeous, but I'm attractive enough. I speak English. And I was there. So for every guy who thought I had potential, they'd all gently approach me, despite my being very vocal about having a boyfriend I was crazy about, and they'd want to start a relationship with me. The fact that he wasn't living in the same city as me meant they had a chance, I suppose.

I mean, there's even a PhD Comic about it, the one where she's hiding around a corner and looking chagrined and wearing a t-shirt that says "I Have A Boyfriend".

Don't choose a grad school for the girls. I can understand if you happen to decide that you want to date a girl that you encounter in your program, but don't do it because you're just trying to get a date with just any attractive girl, and consider that she probably won't be amenable to your advances. Think about it from the girl's point of view: it's exhausting to try to do research and take exams and do problem sets when it seems like every guy's got ulterior motives.

Thats why i'd want to go to grad school with a lot of girls. First, i heard grad school is easier so i could date.
Maybe you'll talk about how you dated in undergrad but i'm not very smart. I mean i'm near the top of my class but i study A LOT, so much that i don't have time to date....or do much else.

Also, we're less likely to be in the situation described above if the number of guy + girls is close to equal.

I don't think you're going to find that in engineering, though. And do you really want to choose your career path based upon your best odds with women...? You can meet women at places other than school.

Well...Santa Clara University is in CA...the girls are CA girls. Smart AND pretty (perhaps I'm biased because my DD is one of them).

...aren't you an EE major? It would make more sense to apply to a field that suits your academic interests (like, I don't know, EE?). Girls DO exist outside of school, last I checked.

haha. does engineering make you this desperate or do these people just flock to engineering?

You know you can meet people outside of school. It's a big world out there.

Go to a huge uni with many departments. date the girls in the english department.

Better still - forget engineeering and take up neurosurgery or tax law and make a TON of dosh. What better way to impress and attract the ladies than with your sprawling mansion, ferraris and porches, yacht, condo in NY & FL and perhaps a time share in Bora Bora. You can fly there in your own jet aeroplane too! You can wine and dine in exotic locales such as Paris. Maybe you want to learn a little French.

Yeah forget the nerdy engineering girls go for the girls in the english, teaching or even med majors. ;D

or go invest with madoff

"But I wasn't in grad school for a relationship; I already had one of those, my boyfriend just wasn't living in the same city as I was."

okay, i think i need to rephrase my question. Instead of asking for the grad school with the best looking girl, i want to know which grad school has the highest percentage of girls. I will assume that a greater percentage of girls will result in a greater percentage that are single. So far chem eng is looking good, just need to pick a school now.
