<p>How much emphasis does the US History test put on the 1990s to the present? (Bush I, Clinton, Bush II)</p>
<p>I know that the AP test rarely covers anything beyond the 1980s. However, I noticed that my Barron's book covers these three extensively (almost a 1/5 of the book is dedicated to them only). How many questions should I expect from this time period? Should I pay close attention to them or devote my time to other decades?</p>

<p>IMHO, I don’t think SAT2 would go much beyond Bush Jr and 9/11. I doubt SAT2 would be evil enough to test us on something that happened less than a decade ago.</p>
<p>I’d brush up on Bush Sr. to be safe. (Probably the Gulf War is the most important?)</p>
<p>I’ve decided to skip Bush II entirely. The Barron’s book goes in way too much detail over this time period. (To future test-takers: Don’t use Barron’s. x__x) After looking at the Sparknotes guide online, I’m pretty sure that the test will only go up to Clinton.</p>
<p>I took the test in May, and it doesn’t go that far. AT THE MOST, I think Clinton is the furthest you need to go. I think there are only 2-3 questions on post 1990.</p>

<p>Most of us have been alive for some of Clinton and all of Bush II, so I think, even if there end up being questions about them, we will be fine.</p>
