How much emphasis does the US History test put on the 1990s to the present? (Bush I, Clinton, Bush II)

I know that the AP test rarely covers anything beyond the 1980s. However, I noticed that my Barron's book covers these three extensively (almost a 1/5 of the book is dedicated to them only). How many questions should I expect from this time period? Should I pay close attention to them or devote my time to other decades?

IMHO, I don’t think SAT2 would go much beyond Bush Jr and 9/11. I doubt SAT2 would be evil enough to test us on something that happened less than a decade ago.

I’d brush up on Bush Sr. to be safe. (Probably the Gulf War is the most important?)

I’ve decided to skip Bush II entirely. The Barron’s book goes in way too much detail over this time period. (To future test-takers: Don’t use Barron’s. x__x) After looking at the Sparknotes guide online, I’m pretty sure that the test will only go up to Clinton.

I took the test in May, and it doesn’t go that far. AT THE MOST, I think Clinton is the furthest you need to go. I think there are only 2-3 questions on post 1990.

Most of us have been alive for some of Clinton and all of Bush II, so I think, even if there end up being questions about them, we will be fine.
