I've come to the decision that I need to take 3 subject tests in June. For me I will be taking Chemistry, Math 2 and History. However my background in history is not that great. Now I never got below an A - in History I still do not know too much. Is it easy to study for this test? Do you think I could do fairly well (600+) by studying a little each day until June? I've never taken any AP classes, just regular history. I also took some at my local community college (dual enrollment) but they were online and the teacher was very easy, I didn't learn a thing. If not, what SAT Subject would you recommend me taking?

Personally, APUSH didn’t actually help me when I took the History SAT (it actually hurt!) because the test and my APUSH class focused on completely different aspects of US History. On the other hand, a friend of mine who took regular History didn’t study at all for her subject test and got close to a 700 (680, I think?).

If you’re set on this test, I would buy a few practice books and just do as many (official!) tests as possible. History isn’t too bad, since you’ll only need to memorize facts and make simple connections for the SAT.

Good luck!
