Us History!?

I hear the state department is a good job if you have a major in US History...anbody have any other ideas on what would be a good job?

History's also a good option for Medical and Law Schools. Many History majors have gone onto those two types of graduate schools.

Studying World History seems like a better option, for jobs with the State Department, the UN, NGOs, etc.

really?!?!?!? law school? why is that? My mom wants me to be a doctor heh.

I guess US History isn't particularly 'geared' toward law school, but I know several students at UC Berkeley who majored in History and were accepted by top 5 law schools. Most students I know seem to major in Political Science for law school - for the most part.

Majoring in History apparently would help in medical schools admissions since not many major in History; nevertheless, many students are accepted as History majors. You may want to post in the Pre-Med forums for more detailed and more accurate information.

cool thanks for your help
