US News 2007 Rankings Leaked Again: UCLA 26th

UCLA's ranking from 1991-2006:

1991: 17th
1992: 23rd
1993: 23rd
1994: 22nd
1995: 28th
1996: 31st
1997: 28th
1998: 25th
1999: 25th
2000: 25th
2001: 26th
2002: 25th
2003: 26th
2004: 25th
2005: 25th
2006: 26th

Sigh...

2007: 26th

Actually, the year 2007 was already included as the year "2006". These ranking years listed in my post were meant to be the years of publication, not the years of effect... I had originally copied/pasted them from another thread posted in College Search & Selection. Sorry.

So the chances of being in the top 20 again isn't favorable anytime soon?

we can do it! everybody study really hard this year!! haha

if "we" refers to UCLA students, then i'm sorry because US News weighs heavily towards inputs (SAT scores, top 10% of class, acceptance rates, etc.) and not outputs (what students accomplish while in college and after they graduate).

in other words, they focus on the quality of the meat and not how well the chef cooks it.

nice analogy :p

Yeah, kinda made me hungry...

That was a "well done" analogy.

Oh snap!!!

LOL flopsy, second time u made me laugh in 2 days
