For those who are waiting o hear from MSSM it seems that they are still calling. They had 4 interview dates so far and there will be 8-10. The interviews are every monday-tuesday and they invite you 1-2 weeks before the interview date.</p>

<p>i applied to the cellular biology program at University of Georgia, Athens and interviewed via phone 3 weeks back. have not heard back from them. Do i e-mail the grad school and find out?
the ohter school where i got interviewed via skype (with a potential PI) was IUSM - IBMG program, that was a coupla days back. </p>
<p>How long do you think i wait before i e-mail and find out about their decision?</p>

<p>Emailed UTsouthwestern. No formal decision yet. However, they made it clear that it is almost certainly gonna be a rejection.</p>

UTSW reply was that my application is reviewed and is currently in the HOLD category. However, It is very unlikely that we will be able to offer you a position.
Yes I am international. I am not sure if they are done sending acceptance though.</p>

<p>the “deadline” for sending regrets or acceptance is April 15, the same as for most institutions. I’m not sure if they are done sending admission letters. I saw internationals being accepted (on Grad Cafe) long before I received my email… I guess they have rolling admissions. would UTSW be your top choice?</p>

I believe they would mention when you’d know their decision during interview or you could have asked too. If they told you already, you dont have to worry until their said date unless you want to hear the same reply twice. </p>
