@PencilxBoxes, @Maizecrazed
it was comparing the intellectual capabilities of butterflies(or something) to chimpanzees, thus it is an illogical comparison.

@JonDrums: I said “Despite”, but was unsure on that one.

@Sat - I got no error for the geese one :)

There were 2 no errors, one of them was the geese one, and I forgot the other

they discovered the universe to be 14 billion years old or
discovered that the universe is 14 billion years old.

??

is 14 billion

is there a consolidated list for writing yet?

Ok, so this is probably really late - but could someone please answer this??

For the WWII passage, where it asks what would be the best revision of the phrase “war”, and then it gives a lot of phrases , what was the right answer? I chose B which was said that preservationists like the classical buildings…

The other no error was the one about Homer.
At least I think so…

the question never said Homer in it,
but yes for the Odyssey question I put no error as well.

^same here w/ no error for the Odyssey question

YES. It was definitely “you practice”.

Was it monstrosities or classically beautiful? I put monstrosities because the main topic of the first paragraph was about how in the past, people didn’t defend modern buildings, and the second paragraph was about how people nowadays appreciate them or whatever. Since the purpose of the 1st paragraph was not to compare whether people liked modern buildings versus ancient buildings more, rather, it was about why people did not like modern buildings, I picked monstrosities. What do you guys think of that?

Also, what was question #14 that everyone’s arguing about? (the one with although, despite, yet) I don’t remember it.

Musician popular among young audiences?

Yeah same thing.

@graceee, you are referring to two different questions. The question with ‘although’ or ‘despite’ was about a politician (one that vexed me), while 14 was about a musician which I am reasonably sure is “you play”.

I put “classically beautiful” because I thought the passage was contrasting views.

do you remember the full question for the politician one? I don’t remember it at all… which may be bad since so many people are arguing about it haha.

I think it was either 12 or 13. It was on that back page…

At any rate, it basically talked about a more skilled politician whose arguements were inferior to his opponents, or something to that effect.

For the politician, I put correct as is (answer choice: although)
Fairly certain.
