<p>Joe Saltzman, who is a professor at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, has been named the National 2010 Journalism and Mass Communication Teacher of the Year, The prestigious award is given by the Scripps Howard Foundation. The award includes a $10,000 prize.</p>
<p>Professor Saltzman is also an alumnus of SC. This is only one of many awards he has received in his long career at Annenberg.</p>
