USC Annenberg School of Communication & Journalism Receives $50 Million Gift

<p>The Annenberg Foundation has pledged $50 million to the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. It was announced today at the inauguration of the new USC President, Dr. M. Nikias.</p>

<p>The foundation will commit the funds to support the building of a new state of the art building to house the Annenberg school. Recently the foundation has donated $5 million for additional Annenberg scholarships.</p>

<p>Undergraduate majors offered at Annenberg are: </p>

<p>The school also offers a minor in Sports Media Studies as well as other minors: Communication and the Entertainment Industry, Communication Design and Communication Law & Media Policy.</p>

<p>Wow, that’s a nice gift. A big benefit to students!</p>

<p>This is a great addition to the school, the program seemed great when I talked to the head of the school yet they were housed in the basement of the former basketball stadium, not exactly the most picturesque surroundings…</p>
