Hey all, I was a Spring Admit (Marshall) who was just bumped up to Fall. But before I was bumped I had pretty much figured out my plan for the spring with the help of USC. I also have a spot available at Gateway Apartments if someone wants the lease (cheaper than it currently is to get a spot). If you want any info/help or info about the lease please feel free to inbox me. Gratz all who got in and welcome to the Trojan Family!

in fall 2012 for business!

Anyone call to find out when financial aid info is released?

I desperately need to hear about financial aid info too. Financial aid will be my deciding factor whether I’ll attend USC or not. Signing up for orientation and other important items are coming up real soon for my other college, so hopefully we’ll get financial aid info soon…

I got an email today from USC saying I needed to turn in a form. My mom just sent it in so hopefully they come back with the money soon!

Can all those accepted to Marshall - please post your stats. thanks.

Why? And what stats?

GPA and SAT scores.

4.6 weighted, 3.8 unweighted. And 2080

My appeal went through! AND I was admitted as a Film & TV Production major! I feel so honored!!!

4.8 weighted, 3.9 unweighted, 2080 SAT. Fall admit to Marshall. SO EXCITED!!! :)

Congratulations to all of the new Trojans! This has got to be a record for appeals! I am so excited for all of you!

4.3 weighted 2090 SAT, fall admit to Marshall - still trying to decide if I’m attending or not!

USC financial aid is updated. Can’t go bc of too little financial aid =/

So little fin aid… Balls

Is it because we appealed we got less?

Did you get an email about the financial aid update?? I’m waiting for financial aid, and it hasn’t updated for me yet. I hope I can get enough to be able to go!!

I was rejected to USC and did not appeal but I’m just curious about something…if you are a national merit finalist and are entitled to the half scholarship, would you still get it if you got in on an appeal?

Interesting question ^. I think no but not because of appeal. This year they quite literally ran out of scholarship money (primarily due to NMF). I have a friend who was admitted and was a NMF but they could not offer her the scholarship, they only had 4,000 to give her. She said no an now will attend UChicago. So to answer your question, I’m pretty sure it’s a no but not directly as a result of appealing.

Thats what I thought, and that’s why I didn’t appeal. USC was my first choice but is not worth full price in my opinion. Thanks for the answer!
