How does USC deliver in terms of partying?? I know that it's really tight security becuase of its downtown location, but does that translate into few parties?

ha ha
USC is the biggest party school in LA
on campus and off campus

i go to USC...so yeah, considering what you said about security, USC has tons of parties. that said, the university's president has been trying to crack down on the parties at USC, at least on The Row. but i'm not a huge fan of the Row crowd or their parties, so that's not much of a problem for me...there's more than enough parties elsewhere to keep you busy on the weekends.

and i should say that with Thursday night Row parties greatly diminished in second semester, it seems like there's been more parties on Friday and Saturday night when there were relatively few first semester.

Yes, USC is a hella party school...c'mon now you should know that.......

Los Angeles, the city itself is a party place...

usc isn't really a party school anymore like phobos said. DPS and LAPD are crazy and are always on the lookout to shut down parties. The school banned Thursday night parties on the row for a while, and there aren't that many options since we really only have one bar in the area.

the 9-0! hahaha, my floormates (those with fakes, clearly) have a great story about that one...it involves kicking out one of the windows in the first story of our building, a bloody foot, and the subsequent trail of blood in the lobby...then elevator...and finally the bathroom :D man that was a wild night!
