USC Class of 2022

Can someone answer my question definitively? Does no mail = rejection?

No one can answer your question definitively. None of us truly know for sure, but best of luck to you!

@jj1999 They do mail rejection letters too. They are just sent regular mail. You will know for sure when the portal updates… just after midnight PST on the 25th…

^ i would also like to know :frowning:

I am not seeing any rejection postings so perhaps No Mail = Rejection :frowning:

@jj1999 - I don’t think anybody here can tell with certainty.

Be patient for one more day or better yet until the portal updates. I see you’ve asked that question many times in the past few hours, and it must be nerve wracking, but I recall a parent saying that last year (or a few years ago), they never received a letter. They only found out from the portal update. Best of luck.

I’m pretty sure no mail means rejection, just to be realistic

A lot of people from my school got accepted, but I haven’t gotten anything so Im just super worried. Is it possible that the post office didn’t deliver everything they got sent by USC?

I thought I did read somewhere Acceptances are mailed Priority while Rejections are mailed First Class and FC may likely come later than priority modality…

I am being realistically curious…

I’m pretty sure I was rejected considering I live 45 min from USC and didn’t get anything. Has anyone heard of ppl getting in in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area?

Earlier there was a post that someone’s friends had gotten rejection letters. But I believe we are yet to see one from a poster here so not sure of reliability.

@goldenlabrador Im in the bay and I’m guessing saturday at the EARLIEST. the map said it would take two days and I would guess it might take longer. just gotta sit and suffer :))))))

Earlier, someone said that they know someone who works in admissions at USC and the admissions person said that the day you receive your decision in the mail is completely unrelated to whether or not you were accepted. It just has to do with mailing

anyone get a mailbox from simi valley?

@ep18 ppl in my town got accepted, but we all have the same post office. Does the post office ultimately decide when to send certain packages and stuff?

Hey!! Familiar posters know that usc is my dream school, and I just want to say I got accepted!! 1320, 3.4 UW cognitive science. From Southern California. I’ll write a full post on decision thread once I’m done celebrating. For those of you that read this, just know that anything is possible. I never in a million years thought I’d get in and I’m so glad to be able to attend USC next year. Good luck to everyone and fight on!!
Location: Riverside (island empire)

@ihopeigetintbh CG! similar stats.

Does anyone know of anyone getting accepted in the East LA area? Didn’t get anything in the mail but my apartments mailing system is a mess and things usually get misplaced or delivered late. Hoping for the best.

@jj1999 anything is possible, but as @hgomezpersonal said, if you didn’t receive a package today and you live 45 min from USC, it is probably safe to assume it is a no go. That being said…just wait till Sunday and check the portal and you will know for sure.
