@erikrr44 Rejections are sent as a first class letter; acceptances are sent as a white box package (fall admit) or yellow box package (spring admit).
@erikrr44 to my knowledge, letters are only for rejection, the packages are admission
@erikrr44 if it lists the weight you can tell by that. Or by the wording, letter from USC would mean rejection, while package from USC would mean acceptance. Finally, if its sent priority mail then it’s an acceptance; rejections are sent first class. However, @CADREAMIN has stated multiple times that informed delivery doesn’t work with USC decisions, and they’ve been right about everything else. It’s possible that changed this year but I doubt it. The whole point of them sending decisions in the mail is so people get that exciting mailbox moment. Knowing what’s coming ruins the surprise.
Welp im hoping im in laserfocus’ son’s situation today. Wish me luck!
Does anyone know what time admissions decisions will be posted tomorrow? I’m definitely not receiving the letter in NJ before them.
Thanks for the help everyone. I understand that you cannot track packages but is it possible to see firstclass mail for rejections. Someone said they saw that in their informed delivery earlier.
So if my informed delivery says there’s a piece of mail that doesn’t have an image, does that mean anything?
Does it say it is from USC? I have none that say that

I just recd an email from USPS…I have 3 letters…none from USC. No packages.
Not all bad news…one of the letters is from Victoria Secret…lol

@Pdxuser1 I think people are saying the letters are trackable but the packages aren’t…at least I’m hoping…
@edszebra Congratulations! Was so happy when you got in! While hopeful to join you now, I applied to a tough major so will need to wait and see. But wish you all the best as a new class of 2022 Trojan!
Me too @SexyHippo
@anatomygeek34 I hope you get in! That’d be so cool!!
@WaitingForGodot thank you! What major did you apply for? I wish you the best of luck!
Informed delivery shows a letter from “admission and financial aid”. Is it a rejection letter or financial aid letter?!
I am at the DC march so I won’t know until Monday or Tuesday.
I am from NYC and am holding out for the USC mail moment. While it may be a rejection, as a writer I want to fully experience the moment of holding an actual letter or a package.
To experience each acceptance, waitlist or rejection in an email or portal is somewhere anticlimatic. Good luck everyone!
@ers2022 Last year some NY and NJ applicants got their acceptances on Saturday. Good luck!
