USC Dornsife vs NEU D'Amore McKim

D just got accepted into USC as transfer student (will be sophomore in fall 2014). She completed first year in Northeastern as undecided, was accepted in D'Amore McKim business school two weeks ago. She was accepted by USC as undecided major therefore placed in Dornsife.

The dilemma is she has just found out from USC she must take microecon again (she hated it) to be considered an applicant for Marshall school of business, must get B+ or better, even then it's not guaranteed she will be admitted to b school.

At hindsight, she should have applied Marshall school as first choice, undecided as second. As it is, we are now facing the choice of choosing NEU D'Amore McKim or undecided in USC. Any thoughts on this?

My question is how likely is it to transfer to Marshall from Dornsife? Is it worth leaving NEU Business School for USC undecided? I believe D'Amore is ranked higher than Marshall.

Thank you all in advance.

PS. Financial Aid is not deciding factor. Unlikely we will get any from either school (sucks for middle class parents)

D’Amore McKim is better than Marshall anyway. Is there any reason (location? cost?) why your D would rather go to USC? Otherwise, she’ll probably be better off at Northeastern.

Any list that has Wharton at 7 for undergrad business is a list I wouldn’t put much stock in.
