Does USC take the GPA right off of your transcript and use that to determine admission? Or do they do unweighted only?... or weighted only? Or unweighted core classes only.... or weighted core classes only?

Are the + and - included in calculating the GPA?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I tried emailing them, and I got no response/

I have never found that this question has been directly answered by admissions and it is discussed regularly on these boards. I have asked admissions and I was told that they do not release the details of how they re-calculate high school GPA. From what we can put together, however, it seems that USC Admissions looks at UNWEGHTED GPA using A-G courses (no PE, Health, etc.), the STRENGTH OF CLASSES and the HIGH SCHOOL PROFILE all together. They do not take in account pluses and minuses (not to be confused with USC GPA once you are there + and - IS taken in to account in USC GPA.)
