USC Grade Statistics (Inflation/Deflation)

<p>Does USC publish any statistics on the GPA its students graduate with? Either by school, department, or the overall university? I recently graduated from the AME department of the Viterbi School of Engineering. I have been unable to find any published statistics concerning the average GPA of Viterbi/AME students.</p>

<p>If I had to guess based on personal experience, the average undergraduate GPA in the AME department is somewhere between a 3.0 and 3.3, but this is based solely off of anecdotal evidence.</p>

My suggestion is to contact Viterbi and ask if that information is available to a recent graduate.

I’ve heard Viterbi curves to a B- (2.7)
