USC Norman Topping Scholarship

<p>I recently got a call from USC telling me to apply for this scholarship which on the website says is for those with financial need and community awarness. They said something about being on a list and i should be proud of myself (it was a message since i wasn't home when they called). One of friends called them but they said they called people for certain reasons, not based on financial need since it's too early. </p>

<p>to be eligible you had to be : accepted to USC, financial need, and community awareness. </p>

<p>So is this anything special that i was called? because for sure i know not everyone was called about this. And i can't think of how they picked up the community awareness from my application lol. </p>

<p>Any chance this might mean that i have a higher chance of acceptance?
i dont' get the decisions until march. </p>

<p>that would be awesome if that meant you got in. I got an email from them, but i thought it said that just because you get an email, it doesn't mean you got accepted. BUT since you got a phone call maybe your special =] lol...i think that in order to be considered a finalist, u need to have been accepted tho. but i would say that means you have a higher chance of acceptance.</p>
