USC or University of San Diego (LAW)

Hello

I'm a foreigner, and I've been admitted to USC Law and University of San Diego, Law, in the fall 2012 and I'm trying to decide which I schould attend. What would you choose?

I've heard very good things about San Diego as a city, but I'm confident, that the USC Law is a much better school.

Where is the best place to live outside USC i LA? I dont want to be too far way from campus.

Any thoughts would be great!

Thank you

Henrik

Henrik,
Congratulations on being admitted to two law schools. Have you had the opportunity to visit each campus? Have you studied each website and checked out their job placement and bar exam pass rate?

I suggest visiting each of the college websites here on CC and ask the question.

Here are the California Bar Exam pass rates for the last two exams. Please note the February bar exam has many fewer students take the examination.

February 2011 CA Bar Exam Pass Rate by Law School:

USC --100%
Pepperdine–92%

July 2011 CA Bar Exam Pass Rate by Law School: (Most take this exam)

USC --91%
Stanford–89%
Berkeley–87%
Pepperdine–86%
UCLA–85%

Univ. of San Diego 76%

This is a thread for UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES. There is a separate thread for graduate schools, medical schools and law schools. Ask over there. Thanks.

USC Law for sure. Take this ranking with a grain of salt. But USC(18) is much higher up than USD(67).

Thank you DrGoogle and Georgia Girl very much for your answers and sorry for posting in the wrong threat.

I’ve looked at the USC and USD websites and a lot of others places, but haven’t had the opportunity to visit the places as I live in Europe. I’ve been in LA for vacation and that was great. Expecially outside the Hollywood area with the walk of fame ect. (thought that was to crowded and only for turist)

I’m not 100 % sure but I think i’ll try USC.

Thank you once again!
