USC Pre-Law Help

Okay, so I will be attending USC in the fall in Dornsife. I will be changing my major to Philosophy, Politics, and Law. I am deciding whether I want to minor in something such as Spanish (which I suck at but have completed 5 years of), Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, or anything that might help me go to law school if I choose to or help me get a job in the long run. I know it should be something I love, but I also know I need to put in a lot of effort to get where I want to be. I might not even decide to go to law school and might just go to graduate school. But, is it better to minor in something or focus on extra curriculars, LSAT, and internships or try to do both??? Also, I am applying for thematic option but idk if I will join if I get in because is it better to focus on extra curriculars and gpa instead of committing to a lot of intensive writing and reading when I will already be doing several writing classes to prepare for law school?

Its your choice. If you really want to minor in Spanish you can do that, but otherwise a minor in something like PS, IR, Comms, or Econ will be way more helpful. Also, I would think focusing on ECs/LSAT/Internships will be more helpful for a possible law school future.

You’re major will already include politics, correct? If so, don’t minor in political science as well.
