I am a 17 year Indian student. This is my last year in higher secondary ie. I will complete 12th grade.
I want to apply for USC SCA BFA. I wanna know when can I apply for the undergraduate program. This may be a stupid question but I am really confused because of the somewhat different education system here.

please help guys

If this is your last year of higher secondary you can apply now. The deadline is December first for SCA. Age is not relevant. Only completion of the equivalent of high school (in your case, 12th grade). It is the same for U.S. students.

That is probably why no one has answered. Those answers have already been posted on this discussion board Here is the general USC page:

You must complete the common application, then fill out and send a supplement to the School of Cinematic Arts. Here are the specific instructions for a BFA in Production. Note the applications are due on December 1st. That is earlier than the general USC deadline but both parts (the USC part and the SCA supplement) must be complete by the December 1st deadline.

Thanks a lot. It was so irritating and confusing not knowing if i was of age. Does it mean I can fill application after completing 12th? Answer 1 more thing for me: I will complete 12th by coming March or April of 2015. So when must I apply?

You apply in the fall of your last year in school. So if you are graduating in May 2015 - you will fill out your application in fall of 2014. That means you’ll find out if you have been accepted a few months before you graduate. Just remember that although the “general” USC deadline is January 2015, the entire application (for both USC and School of Cinematic Arts) must be received by December 1, 2014 - one month early. Which is also the same deadline to be considered for merit aid so it’s actually a benefit for students who might also procrastinate.

The Common App should be released soon (USC is one of many colleges that uses the Common App):

https://www.commonapp.org/Login

But make sure you follow my links in the original response above so you know what Cinematic Arts requires you to send in addition to the Common App. They won’t consider late submissions or incomplete applications so follow the steps for the specific degree program within SCA that applies to you. It’s important because USC reads your main application (grades, scores, essays), but Cinematic Arts mostly focuses on your supplemental application (film essays, personal profile, portfolio, etc.).

Good luck!
