@lkg4answers answered your first question but for the second, if you’re not admitted early you’ll receive an email saying you’ll receive your decision by a date in April and provide more information about the National Merit process for NM Presidential Scholars.

A few students will be admitted today. The vast majority will be admitted at the end of March/beginning of April.
