<p>One of the nation's most prestigious scholarships is the Luce Scholarship. Only 18 Luce Scholars are honored across the nation.</p>
<p>Craig Western, a senior in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, will receive a 2011 Luce Scholarship. Mr. Western will graduate in May with a degree in mechanical engineering. While at SC he has distinguished himself academically as well as being a USC Global Scholar, among other achievements. He will work in Asia after graduation.</p>
<p>Craig's announcement came not long after the awarding of a highly competitive Churchill Scholarship to Daniel Strouse. Daniel was one of 14 nationally to receive the honor. He will study at the University of Cambridge.</p>
