USC Shoah Foundation Launches Series with Comcast

The USC Shoah Foundation Institute maintains one of the largest video digital libraries in the world. It is an archive of nearly 52,000 video testimonies. It was established by Steven Spielberg to collect and preserve testimonies of survivors and other witnesses to the Holocaust.

Cable giant Comcast and the USC Shoah Foundation will launch a series called "Days of Remembrance" which will be available On Demand and through Xfinity.com and the Xfinity iPad app.

Mr. Spielberg remarked, "This parnership allows us to expand significantly the reach and impact of our documentary films and enable us to touch millions of people across the United States."

Holocaust Remembrance Day is May 1.

This is amazing! With the survivors slowly dying out, this is definitely needed.

The USC Shoah Foundation is located in the Dornsife School of Letters, Arts and Sciences.

One of the goals of the foundation is to have all the videos in digital format for longer preservation.
