usc spring admit housing

ok so I'm a spring admit and I replied that I am going to attend USC, now I was wondering if the deadline for the spring housing was on May 1 and if you didn't apply by then, are you doomed for housing? does anyone know the answer to this? The usc housing website is still working but I was wondering whats the chances of being able to get housing even though it's kind of late :( Thanks guys!

Spring admits can’t apply until jUly 1st…I already tried hha

HMR, which dorms are you trying to live in?

Well…I put a lot of the common top choices…Binkrant, New/North, Pardee…but they made it sound like the spring admits could apply at any time and they would jsut set aside your application for spring if you turned it in early. Apparently I read it wrong because they emailed me saying i couldn’t apply till July… : (

But they said I have a great shot of moving up to fall sooo we’ll see

Ya, they definitely did make it sound like you could apply and that they would just set it aside. I wonder what happens with housing if you get moved up to the fall? Good luck though. It does seem like you have a good shot, especially based on how persistant you’ve been.

Taxi…why can’t you go in fall if you were to be moved up??

USC is already way too expensive for my family. They said I could go under the condition that I continue to apply for scholarships throughout college, save most of my money from working in the summer to pay for college, and that I get a solid job during the fall and save that money as well. I recently found out that I got an alumni scholarship, and if I end up finding a little bit more money in the next two years, I will end up with a reasonable (yet still large) amount of student loans so that I’m not screwed when I graduate.

Ohhhhh I gotcha!!! Well then, I can’t wait to see you in the spring!!!

hey you guys is usc spring admit really worth it? today I found out the hard way for housing, I sent in the app with $30 and it got canceled bc I’m in spring… it makes it sound like spring= secondstring… r u guys totally ok with going to cc, starting skewl late, and having to catch up and register for next years classes asap? Im really starting to have doubts about the college

It all depends on what’s going to work for you…USC has one of the best theatre schools for acting and that’s what I want to do…soo that’s why i’m going. I’ve been in love with USC since I first visited the school…I wouldn’t be happy with any other school.

I have no doubts at all. I won’t be going to CC because of my AP credits, and I’m not worried about applying for classes. If you have any questions about registering for classes or anything I would contact the specific school you got into with questions. I contacted Marshall about my AP credits and I received a very helpful response. I’m a pretty outgoing person so I’m not as worried about the social aspect. Plus, you can always rush and join different organizations if you’re trying to get really social. I have heard from people who know or are related to spring admits and they told me that you really don’t feel excluded at all. However, if you truly think you’re not going to enjoy yourself you might want to think about your decision.

i have about 4 ap credits so far but only one counts as a GE, the other three are elective points… do u guys knoe if i would still be behind if i entered without cc?

is it hard to get into the social dorms for spring admits?
and does anyone know the chances of getting moved up to fall for the marshall school?

The only thing i know is that the school as a whole did not meet their tield sooo they will be moving people up…but thats about it

If any of you are desperate for USC housing and female, and are interested in obtaining an assignment asap, please message me as I have a space you can take from me that is on campus and very very safe. Happy hunting!!

HOUSING ON THE ROW! - I’m trying to move into my sorority this spring semester and need to sublet my spot in the gorgeous Sig Delt house! Any girls interested?? It’s directly across from Pi Beta Phi on 28th street and its brand new and GORGEOUS! marble bathrooms, hardwood flooring, and very spacious! The rent also includes one meal per day from the fabulous chef here! You don’t need to be affiliated with this chapter, or any, to live here, as they are renting out rooms to any girls since their chapter is new and not yet large enough to fill the whole house. This is a really great opportunity to live on the row! Message me if you’re interested!!!

HOUSING IN NEW/NORTH FOR SPRING 2010!!

I live in a double WITH A SINK in New, and I’m moving into my sorority house next semester so I need someone to fill my space! New/North is the most popular dorm on campus and one of the most convenient in terms of its proximity to classes, dining hall, etc. The room itself is on the second floor right next to the bathrooms and laundry room. Spaces in New/North for Spring Admits are going to be really limited, especially with a sink! The cost is $3,540 for the semester. If you’re interested or have any questions at all please email me at bmatthews891■■■■■■■■■■■■!

Hey, number 1, I was a spring admit last year. I was really nervous about meeting people, if id be behind in classes, etc. Turns out to be by far the best decision that I have ever made. With taking two jc classes and ap’s, I was fine on credits. I rushed and I met all the people I would want to. Housing does matter though, but either way you are going to have fun. Sorry for trying to press this on here though, but my roommate and I are trying to move out into our frat house and we need two people to take our spots in TROY EAST. If you are male, from freshman to upper class, these are the best apartments you can find in USC housing you can ask anyone. Right between the row and school, extremely safe, this is where you want to live. There will probably be another spring admit moving in, so you will be able to live with people that are both new and experienced at USC, just aiding in the transition to USC. There is a gym right across the street, kitchen, and lots of room. Contact me if you are interested to live in Troy East for 2013, ajmuelle@usc.edu

I actually might have 5 new spots in Troy East if any males are interested.

I’m a sophomore spring 2010, male and I applied for housing but i doubt I will get anything
