Love to Dance? Love to Perform? Got Trojan Spirit? TRYOUT!

The Trojan Dance Force is the University's only Athletic-sponsored competitive dance team, and performs at home basketball games. Judges will be looking for athletic dancers with solid dance technique, exceptional performance quality, and strong commitment to the Trojan Dance Force. All USC students (including incoming freshmen) are invited to audition.

The team practices 10-20 hours a week to refine their technique and present cutting-edge choreography for basketball games and competitions. Commitment on the Trojan Dance Force takes place over the USC academic school year, starting in August '11 and ending in May '12. The Attendance to all practices, USC Home Basketball Games, and outside performances is mandatory.

Audition Schedule:

Information Session: April 18th 7pm
Clinics: April 19th and 20th 6pm-8pm
Audition: April 22 6pm

Unfortunately, the team has been set for the 2011-2012 school year. Please check back in late March/April for more information about tryouts for the 2012-2013 school year. Our website, [Coming Soon - Future home of something quite cool](http://www.trojandanceforce.org), should be up soon, and that will give you everything you need to know about TDF.

Make sure to check us out at all home basketball games! Fight on!

I’m currently a senior in high school, hopefully a future student at USC! I’m captain of my school’s colorguard/winterguard team (kind of like what USC calls “silks” - but with more types of equiptment and dance) and I’m very interested in joining a dance team in college! Maybe you could answer a few questions for me? Can incoming freshmen try out for the Trojan Dance Force, if they know whether or not they are admitted to USC? If this is the case, and I am admitted, what skills/steps/leaps/etc. should I know and have perfected before auditioning?
