<p>Hi, I'm a senior trying to look in to what colleges I want to go to/can even get in to. My current two favorites, but reaches, are UCSB and USC. My brother went to USC and I would really like to as well.</p>
<p>My biggest problem, however, is my HS GPA. Junior year I had a 4.0 weighted both semesters, but Freshman and Sophomore year it was about a 3.0. I just wasn't trying and now I regret it. Senior year I am taking 4 AP classes.</p>
<p>My SAT scores:</p>
<p>Overall: 2020
Math: 770
Writing: 650
Reading: 600</p>
<p>I'm taking the SAT one more time to try to get Reading up, the subject SATs, and the ACT.</p>
<p>If I were to write a good essay and post these scores, would I have a chance? Could I convince them to try to look more at my Junior/Senior year rather than Freshman/Sophomore, so it would be more like a 4.0 with a 2020? </p>
