I’ve been doing a ton of research on these two schools and am trying to figure out which one to go to.
At USC I would be majoring in Environmental Science and Health and minoring in Cinematic Arts. Housing is guaranteed for two years and after that I would have to get an apartment which is about $1000 a month. My EFC is 0 and I would have to pull out about $8000 dollars of loans a year (totaling about $32000 after four years).
At UCSD I got a scholarship that would make it free for me to go and my scholarship guarantees me housing for four years. I would be majoring in Environmental Systems and double minoring in Global Health and Film Studies.
I feel I would be a better fit at USC but I don’t know if I can justify the cost, plus I plan on going to grad school which would accumulate more debt. What do you guys think, is USC worth the cost or should I just suck it up and go to UCSD?
