USC vs UIUC vs Umich(if admitted)

I want to major in computer science in my undergraduate. And if possible, I want to major in both CS and business. I hope that I can work in some large IT companies, like Microsoft ,Google and ect, after I graduate from college. Here comes the problem. I was deferred by Umich and haven't heard any news since last year. USC is good, because it is in LA where it seems to me that I can find an internship or a job easily. However, according to the rankings of computer science subject, UIUC is higher than USC and Umich. So, I have no idea which school is the most suitable choice for my future career. I need help to choose a college. Thanks a lot.

UIUC is the best among those three for computer science. If finances aren’t a big problem, you should goto UIUC for your computer science degree. :)

Michigan is better for business than UIUC, which is also an area you want to major in.

“I was deferred by Umich and haven’t heard any news since last year.”

Then you need to pick up the phone and call them and ask about this, don’t you?

^^^I’m sure the OP has. Michigan is not handling it’s first year with the common application well at all. :-(

it’s a great program and you can finish it in 4 years.

Yes, i did saw this program. and this program is very attractive for me. However, I am just worried about my internship, which is important when i graduate from college to find a job. Will the IT companies pay much attention to the ranking of the computer science of the school when i look for an internship?

Urbana Champaign has an outstanding reputation as far as comp sci is concerned from an internship standpoint.
