<p>Here in California USC is regarded as a top research university that's prestigious, difficult to get into, and has tons of networking connections. Also known for great social scene and nice weather with lots of nightlife options, seeing that its in LA.
In the past, SC had a reputation of being just a party school with good football and nothing else, but these days it's soaring up the ranks and is now ranked #23 in USNWR, tied with UCLA. Just curious: what is your impression of USC? Also, for those living outside of Cali, how well known is USC? Does it have a good reputation in other parts of the country?</p>
<p>USC is very well known across the country. Today, it still is a huge party school, but the football team sucks. Matt Barkley stunk up the joint in his final year, and they’ve only gotten worse since.</p>
