student4u - Penn/Wharton was my first choice. I really prefer the east coast because it is much closer to home (in Florida).

I had a 1340 SAT, 4.0 GPA at UMiami as of first semester (3.8 this semester for 3.91 or so overall), 3.6 high school GPA u/w... nothing spectacular. I was very proud of my essays and think that my one for USC was probably my best for any of the schools I applied to (of course I submitted the same essay to Cornell and was rejected, so I don't know lol).

you looked at the page where it lists what has been reviewed, pending reviewed, and being requested???? right after you log in, you should see multiple menus and on the right side, it says my documents for admission and financial aid check list. click on the admission link and you should hopefully see something.

If you still see insufficient info, then im not sure. perhaps your spring grades havent been requested yet

i checked it out, this "gateway to information" is totally not up-to-date and does not have any information asides from my name. But hey, atleast i got to see a picture of my admissions officer, something Devra.

Just found out from my dad that i got into USC for architectual/structural engineering. I think I'm going to go to Penn though (college of arts and science). Currently enrolled at Cooper Union in nyc as engineering major.
H.S. stats are 1470 SAT, 750ish on all SAT IIs, 7 AP's, 3.6-3.7 HS GPA and 3.0 in college.

Thanks, the 3.0 is a little decieving because the average gpa at my school is a 2.8 so 3.0 isnt really too bad, especially when you're taking 6 courses, 4 of which are math/ science classes

im applying to be a sophomore, i called SC and they said they're not asking for my spring grades. at first this sounds bad but now i'm thinking maybe this could be good. anyone else in this situation?

Just finished my freshman year at a 4 yr college with a 3.7 transfer gpa. I got a 1330 SAT, and a 3.7 weighted gpa in high school. I took mostly honors and a few AP classes with lots of extracurricular/leadership experience. And I sent a rec from a usc board member. I'm applying for the business school and have some of the prerequisites in progress, so I figured they'd ask for my spring grades. But I guess not... I'm really bummed!!
