USConnect question/speculation?

@FoxSpectator I am feeling like this is extremely bad manners to ask this, but do you think you could upload a screenshot of the current message section? I am super sorry again – USC is (will probably be “was” soon) my first choice and I will be extremely shocked as well. Wishing you the best of luck.

Can someone please chance me?

Pretty good essays and recommendations

I have already been accepted to Boston University, and wait-listed at Boston College and University of Virginia

@uosuna have you seen http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1558825-what-my-chances-usc-final-answer.html</a> yet? It’s pretty good, but too bad we can’t do anything to change it.

@FoxSpectator I am so sorry, but how could they release your decision earlier? What major did you apply?

@kerning - Well, I look at it as the class/major notation as being likely good news, and I hold out hope that updates to financial aid might have continued for some of those displaying unknown/unknown, thereby updating the class/major fields.

This is a very stressful time for college applicants across the country. I know that all of you will have great opportunities before you on May 1st. Best of luck to one and all.

@friedfishchen No worries! I’m just super bummed because (not to sound cocky, sigh) I always thought my stats were good enough. Evidently, I was wrong.

Here’s what I got: imgur. com /uu5Ur6b

@AZParent Not really sure how I got that message… I checked the application status check on a whim and discovered the message there. As you can imagine, it was completely out of the blue. I applied as a Chem major.

@FoxSpectator That’s not nice, let you suffer the rejection alone. Best of luck on your other applications.

@FoxSpectator Aghhh…oh man, sorry again!! I’m going to be very bummed as well (you’re not cocky!), I also thought I was good enough. You definitely seem to be handling it better than I would, I felt dizzy just thinking about USC today while in class.

I’m probably going to get that letter tomorrow, or by the end of the week.

Well, my rejection may just be sitting out there right now too, but WHO would KNOW since the thing is “glitching” AGAIN. Maybe it is my internet connection. sigh…

I. am. not. looking. at. the. portal. anymore.

That is all.

Because everyone is here, can you guys check your FA Status Page > Page Source > Search for “We have”? Do you guys see the message?

Yes I see the “We Have” and I was an unknown, unknown.
Do you get the error message when you try to pull up the status of the admission?

Just the application status check? Nop

@foxspectator do you still see the letter now? Or did USC pull it down? :-(. And I’m sorry to hear about that :’(.

I am trying to pull up my portal and it gives me the error when I try to check the application status under admission. Anyone else having that problem?

@AZParent A testament to the mass panic caused by a small slip on USConnect. Not fair to worry everyone, not cool at all.

One person earlier said USConnect’s clues have previously been inaccurate… I sure hope this is the case!

@rosakwak96 My admission status check loads fine and I can still download the letter… I guess I just can’t escape this rejection! -__-
Am I really the only one who can see a letter though??? No one else?!

Given the limited number of ppl on here, I’m sure it’s not just you. If it were, it would prove that not all acceptances and rejections are given out at once…
