@MrsWeasley My daughter just got good news from Tisch as well. We are also in the 2-day zone and did not receive anything from USC today. I doubt we can afford either school, so it is looking like Chapman or LMU, but still keeping fingers crossed!

@sfxchris, I didn’t get anything in the mail today either. I also applied to SCA. Do you think this means we have been rejected?

I feel like mail can be pretty unpredictable so even if we are in The Two day zone we shldnt get Too discouraged yet if we haven’t gotten anything

did yalls come from ups or normal mail?

also has anyone that had the undergrad and major in portal been rejected?

expecting the worst, hoping for the best

@texasports - acceptances by USPS Priority Mail (regular mail carrier), rejections by First Class USPS mail. So far, I have not seen a report of someone who saw class/major receiving a rejection.

^^^ @texasports23 good question. In addition to asking if anyone with unknown/unknown has gotten in, we should also ask if anyone with a major/class got rejected.

@LookingUp8 I don’t think I’m as worried about the mail as I am the FA. Did you have anything listed?

@sfxchris, I don’t really know where I check to see if I have anything listed? Where would I go?

FA typically appears at the end of the first week of April. Components are added bit-by-bit, so if you log in before you get an email telling you that your package is complete, you may see only a partial package. Wait for the email before panicking!

The Unknown/Unknown status meant a rejection. I got rejected with Unknown/Unknown.

Friend in S. Cal. got her acceptance yda. It is supposed to come USPS which is United States Postal Service (looks a lot like UPS when you read it) I didn’t get mine today, but I am trying my best not to curl up in a ball and die. I will be all over USConnect like a chicken on a June bug Noon tmo!

@bouncer I am sorry to hear that. :(

So nervous… USC is the only school left on my list and I haven’t been accepted anywhere besides my safeties. I live in Missouri (STL area), which I would assume would be in the two-day range for Priority Mail, so I’m worried that this means another rejection :/

Accepted for Spring 2015. What does it mean? Please help.

Anyone here have unknown/unknown and get in or class/major and get rejected?

just got mine . From Seattle. ACCEPTED YO! had Major and class listed on FA. hope it helps

Here is a question for you…Do they “really” mean noon pacific OR are they gunna post them earlier? If they have 40K people hit USConnect at noon pacific that would be a bearcat on their system. Sooo do they upload it sooner? Does anyone know what they have done in the past?

This is the first year they announced that they would notify online at a particular time. No history, sorry! (I believe they did notify online last year, but it was well after the mailing and it wasn’t announced.)

@xslxsl I called USC today to ask about the Spring admit details since my son is also a Spring admit. Look for the Spring admit url in your packet. You can actually do a study abroad semester at the American University in Paris in the Fall. You would then be technically a Fall admit but in Paris. you can do your GE requirements and maybe 1 of the entry level courses for your major. And I believe you would also be eligible for financial aid for the Fall then. The other option is to go to your community college in the Fall and do your GE courses there. May as well get them out of the way.
