I’m having trouble narrowing down my top college. I will be pursuing a business major and possibly another major or minor in political science. Following my undergraduate education and some work experience, I plan to attend either a law or business school. My ultimate goal in the future is to get involved in politics and public service following experience in business. Cost wise, ASU is the most affordable, with only almost no debt each year. At USD, SMU, and Syracuse, I would be about $25k in debt each year. I only had a chance to visit SMU and USD, so information on those campuses (perspective coming from CA) would also be helpful! I really want to best education, but I must graduate in four years or less and like schools that don’t have TA’s teaching, small classes, etc… Any and all help is much appreciated!
The choice is easy, because 100K debt for undergrad is CRAZY. Therefore, ASU Barrett, which is an excellent Honors College, is the right choice. Hopefully your APs will let you skip a lot of introductory classes and you’ll take most of those freshman/sophomore year in the Honors College rather than in the “regular” ASU.
(If you don’t like TAs and want small classes, why didn’t you apply to LACs?)
