Hello, I'm about to ask a rather weird question but I would appreciate your help.

It appears that my college counselor wants her part of my college applications (Secondary School Report and Mid-Year Report) by tomorrow. As Princeton hasn't yet released the fill-in Adobe PDF forms, it looks like my options are either to handwrite my name, address, etc, or to use a typewriter.

Will typewriter use make the application look bad, or will it just be something for the adcom to chuckle about (and maybe even remember more than others :))

Thanks for your help!

I filled in one of my applications by hand, only to be yelled at by my guidance counselor. She immediately printed out another copy, and had the school's secretary fill it out by typewriter.

I don't think it was a necessity, nor do I think it has much bearing on admissions. Tons of people write theirs out; tons of people type. If anything, the admissions officer might be greatful to see a typed application, after hours of reading handwritten ones. Saves them a lot of trouble if your handwriting's not the neatest.

It doesn't matter. They won't even think twice about it.
In fact, I typed out one of my essays on a typewriter. It was on purpose, as the essay was about typewriters, sort of. But yea, they won't think you're weird or anything. If you have good handwriting, hand writing it is fine too.
