I'm currently at SPC, and after the Spring semester is over, I'll have enough credits for my AA. I've applied to USF Tampa for Summer B. They have received my college transcripts, but they're only partial. Does USF need my final transcripts (the ones I will get after Spring semester is over) to accept or reject me? It's worrisome because there's only like a month and a half between Spring semester ending and Summer B beginning. Is my only option to sign up for Fall semester instead? Or is there a way to get accepted without final transcripts?

I was accepted with only partial transcripts but you might wanna call and make sure for you.

I think you should go talk to them. I go to SPC too and applied to USF for fall. I went to talk to an admissions person and he was very nice and helpful. He told me they’d make the decision after receiving my fall grades.

My application status still says partial transcript received but I figure that will change when SPC gets around to sending my transcript over since fall grades came out. SPC originally said they’d ‘transmit’ my transcript on Dec. 24 but then when I checked it changed to sending after break is over(Jan 3 is when staff goes back).

So… I’d make sure your transcript was sent after fall grades and then go see admissions. You don’t need an appointment or anything. Just make sure they’re open and it’s like a walk-in kind of a situation.

I’m in the same transfer situation and at SPC. If you are talking about the transcripts listed as partial in the USF admission status computer system then the partial listing simply means that USF hasn’t evaluated the transcripts yet, not that they’ve received a partial transcript.

They accepted me with a partial transcript for the summer, then after they get the final, if it’s bad, they can choose to take away your spot. I saw it happen, hopefully you did well though!
