It may seem sort of dumb, but I was wondering if there is a site where I can see all of the uniforms worn at the Academy. It may be insignificant but if I will be wearing those clothes for the next four years, I'd like to see them. Thanks-John

Here is the official Navy BUPERS website. There are some subtle changes and a couple different uniforms, but these are the ones you will see the most. The short sleeve khaki uniform is the one worn most often during the warm months. And then they go to working blues for the winter months. This will give you a good idea, I'm not aware of an academy webpage, but there may be one.

For Females:

No more working blues after this year.

Hey! I didn't know that. Show me whats new! I'm dying to see? The new blue cammies? Sorry for the lingo. I'm such a Mom & don't know what else to call them.

just kahkis year round

it's about time, the working blues are nearly extinct for officers throughout the navy. The new cammie's won't be coming online for the active duty navy for another year or more so I'm sure it will be a while before KP adopts them

But many really just seem to wear their undershirts and navy blue boilersuits as often as possible. ;)

damn, i like winter working.......thats my fav uniform.....

personaly i think we should wear this....http://buperscd.technology.navy.mil/bup_updt/508/unireg/chapter3/Officers/om_14_Srv_TropicalWhite.htm

A word or 2 for the incoming - from our picnic. DO measure yourself now so you know if you are really a 34 or 36. DO check the size on the issued clothing BEFORE you move on or you will be stuck with tights shorts, pants, etc. Nothing worse than running in tight shorts. Think slightly bigger than smaller. Pride goeth before the fall in tight pants. Do bring Dr. Scholls or other shoe inserts to help your poor feet.
