<p>Does anybody have any info on the vocal groups at USNA. I have been singing for 4 years and would very much like to continue at my #1 choice USNA. I have a 3.4 UW GPA. School Gov't. Soph class pres. 3 different Chiors Section leader. Theater. Community service multiple jobs and internships how is my resume. Does nayone know when auditions are for the mens glee club and if that counts as a sport or when they rehearse? Thanks alot this site is great.</p>

<p>I know the choir is amazing! Not sure if it counts as a "sport" however, although have no doubt countless hours are spent practicing! </p>

<p>First of all i would like to wish you for the rest of carrier. <p>I did Glee Club while at the Academy. It does not count as a sport. When I did it, it rehearsed after dinner time for a few hours twice a week I think. Auditions used to be during plebe summer, but you can also just schedule a time with the director early in the year and audition. </p>
<p>You’ll get to perform with a lot of famous people, go to a lot of great places, and get a lot of time off the yard to represent the Academy. Just to name a few - we did Christmas in Washington every year and sang for the President, performing with Jewel, Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Martina McBride, Brian McKnight just to name a few. We sang the National Anthem at the Preakness every year and had the best seats in the house afterwards. We toured Europe, singing at the Vatican and at other places in Rome, Belgium, and London. It was definitely one of my best experiences at the Academy and I highly recommend it.</p>
