There is a one-year academy prep program in Kerrville, TX where you earn college credit and prepare yourself in other ways to not only gain acceptance to an academy, but excel once you get there. Program takes both USNA Foundation students and non-Foundation students.

Great alternative to going to your second choice college and trying again. Here you are under the leadership of a former USNA grad and professor. ALL students in the program are trying again and that's the focus here.

it's easy... you just have to have a dozen clocks lined up on a shelf above your head, a calender, calculator and stopwatch, and you are all set! ;)

(or you can click on http://www.usna.org/ and select "countdown clocks" from the menu on the left).... :)

Herndon: 33:14:37!!! and fading fast!!!!

Just a note about Spidermom. I hadn't seen her online for awhile so I sent her an email about 10 days ago. She has had some stuff going on in her life that hasn't left her much time to spend on the internet. She said to tell everybody on CC "Hello" and she hopes to be back on here soon. When she sent her email she didn't have any word on Spider's appointment yet.

Thanks WAMOM! Fingers still crossed for the spiders!

74 days!

Good morning, everyone! M2L, did you get my pm?

Hey Nursey! I think I answered??

72 days!

Article will be in Fridays paper about Lola's journey to USNA! I will share as soon as it is out! I am so excited!

We are currently on a scholarship hunt and hoping the one we applied for on Friday comes through to cover that $2500 admission fee since the Loan wont. :) Oh the joys of the journey!

70 days!!!!! Can you believe it!

Make it stop!

Well, after their arguing woke me up this morning on my day off, maybe not. :D

Who arguing? Lost me on that one..
Unless you mean those lovely boys of yours! Cant believe they argue.
as far as the report time goes.. you will be somewhat composed by the time I fall apart at 9:15 and will need your shoulder :)

Well, according to my mother, God bless her, her grandchildren could do not wrong. It was MY fault. She could get them off of death row if they were on it. OH YES, I'm talking about my two sweet boys waking me up!

I'm hoping by 0915 I will be well caffeinated, fed, and not embarrassing my youngest son. So, yes, my shoulder is available. :D

69 days left.

68 days and counting down

68 days! Is that all?? :)

Just kidding moms - enjoy the kids these days - the hugs & time spent together will be a treasure during plebe summer for all of you!

BTW, here's the outlook my son had before reporting: He figured that Plebe Summer wasn't much longer than "Survivor" and at least at USNA they will have beds & meals! (And he decided that what was waiting at the end was a lot more valuable than a million dollars!). I thought that was a pretty good outlook, so maybe it will encourage your plebes.

Cheers everyone!
Have a JOYFUL day!

67 days!! 67 DAYS!!
