<p>It seem like just yesterday my son and I discovered this forum and found that it was a help for both of us in preparation for I-Day. Today, we received a large envelope of information on Commissioning Week. I am sure there were days when my son never thought his next break would arrive but even he admits that it is hard to believe that his journey at USNA is nearing its end. He is excited to begin the next phase of his military career and we are indeed thrilled that he has almost reached this major milestone. No doubt he has formed some real friendships over the years. As parents we feel that we have also been blessed with making some lifelong friendships that will no doubt be a positive force in our lives for the years to come. Enjoy the ride!</p>

<p>Sad but true, Mid Store passes go away after May. They did send numerous extra passes for family for Commissioning Week. There will be nothing left by Memorial Day! That's good since they will be loading up with the Class of 2012 merchandise just in time for I-Day.</p>
<p>Yep ... I'm stocked up with "Class of 2011" USNA caps. I'll be wearing them 'till I'm oldern grayer ... maybe even in my pine box!</p>

<p>Well, you could always put your experience as a USNA parent to work and apply to become a BGO. </p>
<p>One of the many benefits - the biggest being helping to promote USNA - is that you can use your BGO credentials to be able to shop at the Mid Store. The FONA pass is nice as well...</p>
