Hi there. I am freaking out that its Jan 9th and I haven’t yet heard back from the University of Texas at Austin about their Biomedical Engineering program, even though I submitted my app in mid-September. My general stats are:
SAT: 2270
Math II: 800
Bio M: 790
GPA: 4.0 (my school doesn’t weight)
Rank: My current school doesn’t rank but at my old (very competitive) high school I was top 3%
I attend a high school specifically oriented towards math and science courses. When I graduate, I will have taken through Calc III. I have 3 years of Biology, 2 years of Chem, and 1 year of Physics. Because of dual credit I also have 90+ college credit hours.
Race/gender: White female
Are my stats not on par with UT’s program? Does BME usually take this long to get back to applicants? They’re my top choice school if I get in, and I really want to go there. Please help!
