UT Austin CAP (Coordinated Admissions) Program vs. Baylor/Purdue

I am in the process of deciding which college to go to next year. My dream school has always been UT Austin, but I did not get admission as a freshman. I have heard mixed reviews on the CAP (Coordinated Admissions Program), and was wondering if it was worth spending a year at UTSA then transferring. Or getting started immediately at Purdue (Indiana) or Baylor (Waco). I plan on double majoring in Political Science and Economics.

How is UTSA? Benefits, passed experiences etc.
How does getting into the Greek life at UT Austin work after being a CAP student for a year?
